The Most Entertaining Off Broadway Show of The Year is Back! CHECKLIST The Play is a romantic comedy brilliantly written by 1st time director and producer Waled “Wali World” Burgos. CHECKLIST explores the different types of relationships we observe in our everyday lives. The play also brings tolight the decisions people make when dealing with love, family & friends. You will see the leading actress Jessica (played by TV personality Tahiry Jose); interact with her family & friends regarding her issue of finding “Mr. Right.” Jessica’s family pressures her to get married and have children, because she is the only sibling not married. Jessica has a “CHECKLIST” which explains what she wants in a man, but she soon finds out her criteria needs to be altered after she meets the leading actor Dexter (played by Khalid Burgos). CHECKLIST promotes multicultural diversity while also featuring an amazing array of up and coming acting talent in NYC including writer of “Preto” Tyler Burgos, Actress Katherine Kristine Nunez, & Comedian Tyhem Commodore aka Mr Commodore. CHECKLIST is essentially the story of a Latina Woman & Black Man forced to defend their love against racial & cultural prejudices. Everybody has a checklist, what's yours?
